Ross Schexnayder is a happy, tall Cajun from the marshy waters of Louisiana, and couldn't
imagine starting a theatre with anyone else besides the love of his life, Karen.  He is a
graduate of Northwestern State University in Louisiana with a BA in Theater. He recently
finished the national tour of the
Smoke on the Mountain Trilogy (Smoke on the Mountain,
Sanders Family Christmas, Smoke on the Mountain Homecoming
) as Rev. Oglethorpe with
Cumberland County Playhouse.  His other CCP credits include Tom Brown in the CCP
original
Second Sons, and Mike the stage manager in White Christmas.  His other theater
credits include: Stephen Belber in NSU’s production of
The Laramie Project, Cinderella’s
Prince in
Into The Woods, wrote/performed his one-man show Clean Sweep, work at Flat
Rock Playhouse in the ensemble of
Beauty and the Beast, and Sandy in The Man Who
Came to Dinner
.  Ross has also performed as Donald in You Can’t Take It With You, at
Tibbits Opera House. Ross is also a produced playwright, and his latest work
Life with a
Twist: An Evening of One-Acts
has been workshoped at Cumberland County Playhouse.
Ross is just jazzed to be back in Louisiana, and now, on with the show...as soon as he stops
that comet heading for the Earth.
